In the Summer of 2011, the Roscoe Vacant and the Gantin’ Screichs set about recording music that tried to mix their acoustic punk and alternative influences into one big rootsy, grungy mess. The result was “Reckurdt”, a 12 track album initially released by DIY label Newtown Products. The album received very favourable reviews from both bloggers and writers from the mainstream press. Unfortunately Newtown Products is no more, but the album is now once again available to buy on vinyl through 13 Deluxe Records. A true classic acoustic punk album of it’s time - maybe of every time.
