Sweetwater are a Scottish alternative band from Kilmarnock, writing and self-producing their growing collection of songs over the last four years. Their sound is built on the strong song writing partnership between Gavin Lindsay (guitar) and Stuart Dudgeon (vocals, guitar), supported by the dynamic rhythm section of Kenny Morrison (drums) and Dean Pearson (bass). The bands distinctive edge is further shaped by the soulful slide guitar work of George Young.
Born from the collaboration of musicians who have played together in various projects over the years, Sweetwater draw from an eclectic mix of influences — blending rock, blues, folk and contemporary alternative styles into something uniquely their own.
The band are proudly independent, crafting both their music and visual identity in-house. Their community has played a huge part in their journey, and Sweetwater extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported them — from sharing early demos to helping shape their sound and imagery.
